Ancient Paths - 7 Hebrew Words for Praise

Polycarp said: when the Christians were fed to the lions in the coliseum they would break out into the tehillah praise (the spontaneous praise of the heart)...and as a result, more were being converted in the stands than were dying in the arena. Orthodox Jewish Bible - 3 And He hath put a shir chadash (new song) in my mouth, even tehillah (hymn of praise) unto Eloheinu (our God); many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in Hashem (the LORD or the Name...YHWH)
Reference above - a child was on his first plane trip looked out the window and said to his Dad: look Daddy - widdle people, widdle cars, widdle houses...it's all about perspective...we need to see life from God's perspective and everything will look smaller and less threatening. In Numbers 13:33, the Israelites failed to see the sons of Anak from God's perspective or position of faith...consequently fear kept them from the promise.
We see in Luke 10 an amazing lesson that shows how much value and emphasis the Lord places on Worship (placing our attention and focus on Jesus (Yeshua)...spending time with Him or just listening to His Words...versus normal service to Him 38 As they were traveling along, Yeshua went into a village. A woman named Martha welcomed him into her home. 39 She had a sister named Mary. Mary sat at the Lord’s feet and listened to him talk. 40 But Martha was upset about all the work she had to do. So she asked, “Lord, don’t you care that my sister has left me to do the work all by myself? Tell her to help me.” 41 The Lord answered her, “Martha, Martha! You worry and fuss about a lot of things. 42 There’s only one thing you need.[b] Mary has made the right choice, and that one thing will not be taken away from her.” Though service is important, it is not as important than nurturing our relationship with the master!
