Several years ago, Rabbi Jonathan Cahn wrote a book titled: The Harbinger. This
book compared ancient prophecies regarding the nation of Israel with modern day America. His book was inspired by the events of 9/11 and what happened after as directed by the leaders of this nation...and how it parallels Isaiah 9:8 - 21.
He examines a series of 8 signs or Harbingers that happened on 9/11 and as a result of 9/11....and how they parallel exactly with what happened to ancient Israel. What we see happening in America as portrayed by Rabbi Cahn's book
is a parallel prophecy...in other words if the response of our nation's leaders to a warning by the Lord (9/11) is the same as ancient Israel's response to a similar warning then the consequences will also be the same...more severe judgement.
